The Bio.frame

We call it Bio.frame because it brings together two fundamental ideas - biophilia and framework - to support the creation of indoor spaces shaped by botanical life. Made in quality Oak and Stainless Steel, Bio.frame uses a highly modular, freestanding framework that allows the making of living compositions that adapt to interior design preferences and different space types.

Modular

The flexibility comes from a highly modular design which enables a wide variety of freestanding models, each custom designed to allow different heights, foot print dimensions and shelving configurations.

Freestanding

All models are freestanding, needing no wall mounts or permanent fixtures. This opens up creative ways to place them as room dividers, islands or soft boundaries within a space, allowing you to position a model wherever it best supports your plants and the atmosphere you want to create.

Versatile in use

Bio.frames can be designed for many specific purposes - from room dividers and corner arrangements to soft boundaries. Different shapes and section heights make each model suitable for a distinct role, allowing greenery to support both function and atmosphere in a space.

Model design made to order

Each model is custom designed to suit its intended location, type of space and everyday use. Every model is made to order based on its final design and is delivered directly from our designer-maker workshop to its final destination, ready for assembly and use.

Design philosophy

We practice our design philosophy through a “less-is-more” approach inspired by the German designer Dieter Rams’ “10 Good Design Principles,” interpreted through our own design fundamentals and applied specifically to the development of Bio.frame.
